Through every facet of their education, students are steadily being shaped in the image of Christ at 威尼斯人平台. While learning in the classroom, playing on sports teams, eating in the Great Hall, or talking with friends, students are growing in their faith. With discipleship as a key focus of student life, students are able to learn from staff and faculty as well as from each other. No matter w在这里 they are in their walk with the Lord, they can be challenged and find support in the community that surrounds them.

Whether that be as a family, church, small group, or business, students are taught to learn and grow in Christ through every area of life. Many students end up in a variety of fields of work that can be challenging as a believer, but provide an opportunity to be a positive example of Christ to those around them. Some have shared how their time at Covenant has shaped their perspective and ability to view their work as kingdom work for Christ.

M 'Cheyne Moore ’09 graduated from Covenant with a degree in Sociology and now works for the United States Secret Service. When asked about the impact of spiritual formation at Covenant, M 'Cheyne said, “Being in the Secret Service and working at the White House has put me in a prime position to see history being lived out every day. My hope and prayer is that I can be salt and light to those around me, whether they are coworkers, tourists, or other staff at the White House. Covenant helped shape me to know Christ and to make him known to all those I interact with, even to some of the most powerful people in the world!"
“I know this sounds cliché, but Covenant’s holistic approach really shaped my spiritual formation. 这些都来自教授、教堂和朋友。 I still remember some of the speakers in chapel and think back to how their words are still shaping me today in certain decisions. M 'Cheyne is one of many students that have experienced the effects of spiritual formation at Covenant. Even as students move through our application process, they submit a statement of faith. Covenant seeks to shepherd students as they learn and grow because college is such a vital time of maturation.
