我喜欢教授们想要指导他们的学生。 They've invited entire classes over to their houses for meals and I've met with many of them for lunches on campus. Every class also incorporates a Biblical understanding of the material, and many of them have significantly grown and shaped my perspective of issues from poverty alleviation to unity throughout different church denominations to immigration, and so much more. Professors don't tell you what to believe, which I really appreciate, but they teach you how to think Biblically.
你最喜欢你专业的哪一部分，或者觉得你准备得最充分？
I appreciate that the language department connects its students to hands-on opportunities in Chattanooga to practice the language. For example, I've had the privilege of interpreting for a local school twice a year for their parent-teach conferences and volunteering at a local non-profit clinic that serves 西班牙语 speakers.
What do you hope to pursue after Covenant and how do you see Covenant supporting your future career or calling?
我希望为说西班牙语的移民做翻译，并将他们与资源联系起来。 I have already heard about potential jobs and organizations through my professors that I hope to look into after I graduate.
How is Covenant equipping you for active membership in the church or discipleship within the body of Christ?
Covenant does a great job encouraging involvement in a local church, including volunteering outside of Sunday mornings. By God's grace, the students at Covenant have fostered that culture so it's normal for anyone you meet to be involved with their church. If this culture did not exist, it would be all too easy to become disengaged with church life during my college years.

每年两次，圣约会取消一天的课程，专门用来祈祷。 It is a beautiful reminder in our busy lives to gather in community and be still before the Lord that is so unique to this place. Every hall also has a weekly time of prayer and praise that strengthens friendships and provides a really sweet space to grow in your relationship with the Lord alongside your hallmates.
圣约社区是如何支持你成长为一个完整的人的？
Every class integrates spirituality into the course material, whether it's directly learning about theology or an English professor praying at the beginning of class. The chapel department on campus also provides sweet mentors from fellow peers to faculty members. I love how everyone meets together for chapel weekly and the campus purposefully cancels classes during that time to allow us to sit with God and one another. It's so obvious that the faculty at Covenant seriously desire every students' growth and success.
How have your relationships at Covenant shaped your expectations for the other communities God will call you to in life?
我在威尼斯人平台遇到了最棒的朋友。 Knowing how God-glorifying and solid friendships can be because of these people, I want to spread this depth of relationship to the friends I meet later. These people speak the truth in love even when it's hard and reflect their love by their actions. Covenant's community also knows how to make lasting memories and fun adventures that make typical college party culture look boring.
你在圣威尼斯人平台最美好的记忆是什么？
太多了，数不清！ It would have to be either the many times we've gone on weekend rock climbing/camping trips or the times my roommates and I have sat in our rooms and laughed until our stomachs hurt, teasing each other like siblings.
