I chose Covenant because I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped foot on campus, and I spent my whole visit amazed by the sense of purpose that every student, staff member, and professor seemed to have. I wanted those to be the people who shaped me as I continued to pursue whatever the Lord called me to!
你最喜欢圣约的哪一方面？
It sounds like a broken record, but the community is really what makes Covenant so amazing. From my hall to the cross country team to the relationships I've developed with professors, I feel unbelievably lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing net of people who truly love the Lord.
教授和/或学者对你影响最大的是什么？
I've spent my whole time at Covenant trying to learn how to ask questions like my professors do, as that is what keeps them humble even as they have truly become experts in their field. They constantly ask and consider questions that reach beyond their understanding, reminding themselves that we are so finite compared to our Creator.
你最喜欢你专业的哪一部分，或者觉得你准备得最充分？
小班授课让你不会被忽视； your peers and professors encourage you and hold you accountable, which has meant that I feel really well prepared for the MCAT and taking the next steps toward medical school.
What do you hope to pursue after Covenant and how do you see Covenant supporting your future career or calling?
I hope to go to medical school and eventually work as a primary care provider in a community health setting. I am really excited to apply the framework I've built throughout my community development minor to the clinical spaces I eventually work in, asking if the way we practice medicine is truly benefiting the community and their relationships.
How is Covenant equipping you for active membership in the church or discipleship within the body of Christ?
By not having an on-campus service on Sunday mornings, Covenant makes it important to plug into a local church. Our professors are elders, deacons, and active members of their own churches so hearing tidbits about their Bible study the night before or an upcoming session meeting is a constant reminder that participating in the local church is the best way to live out our faith in a specific time and place.

The way Covenant trains RA's (resident assistants) and DA's (discipleship assistants) to be invested in the spiritual formation of their peers and their immediate community speaks to the centrality of that goal. The moment a freshman moves onto their new hall, they are brought in by multiple people who have spent weeks praying for them and preparing to grow closer to the Lord alongside them.
圣约社区是如何支持你成长为一个完整的人的？
Covenant definitely works from a Biblical understanding of humans as complex, integrated, embodied individuals, and they work to meet us in every are of our lives. That looks like a professor checking in on how you're doing when they notice your quality of work has gone down, or a coach getting coffee with you regularly to see how the semester is going outside of your sport.
How have your relationships at Covenant shaped your expectations for the other communities God will call you to in life?
My relationships at Covenant have set an incredibly high standard for the other communities I may find myself in throughout the rest of my life, as I have been so blessed with Christian peers and mentors and professors in a way that I know not to expect from medical school or beyond. Still, I think being a part of this community has taught me a lot about how to be a good neighbor, which I am excited to bring wherever God calls me.
你在圣威尼斯人平台最美好的记忆是什么？
I will always look back on Bey-day (our hall's dance party for Beyonce's birthday, which all girls on campus are invited to) as one of the best bonding moments for girls' halls that I've ever experienced!
