你是怎么听说威尼斯人平台的？为什么选择威尼斯人平台？
I chose Covenant because the moment I stepped foot on campus for my first visit, it felt like home. People I didn't know were excited to get to know me, and some even went as far as to tell me point blank that I belong here.
你最喜欢圣约的哪一方面？
社区! I have never been around so many people who seek to love God and love others as much as Covenant students do. When people say they are going to pray for me, they actually do it. Whenever I needed a ride somewhere when I didn't have a car on campus, I could get one. 能成为这个社区的一员真是太幸运了。
教授和/或学者对你影响最大的是什么？
我的教授们比我交的任何家庭作业更关心我。 They have gotten to know me and in turn can tell when the quality of my work has decreased, and rather than just give me a bad grade, they check on me! I have never once gotten a poor grade without a professor asking me if I need any sort of help or prayer for something else going on in my life.
你最喜欢你专业的哪一部分，或者觉得你准备得最充分？
I really enjoy the way my fellow senior writing concentrations have bonded over our love for the creative process and our capstones. We love our capstone class time so much that even when we don't officially have it, we will plan to get together anyway, even just to talk about how our projects are going and encourage one another to keep writing.
What do you hope to pursue after Covenant and how do you see Covenant supporting your future career or calling?
I plan to get my MA in professional writing, and hopefully work as either a grant writer or be copywriter somewhere. Covenant has a lot of connections to companies that I would be proud to go work for and represent the kind of people that Covenant produces. The Center for Calling and Career has been instrumental in helping me polish my professional experience and get ready to pursue a career in writing, which I never considered a realistic possibility.
How is Covenant equipping you for active membership in the church or discipleship within the body of Christ?
I think the way that Covenant encourages us to get involved around campus is like getting plugged into a ministry while on campus and serving in any capacity we can, which prepares us to want to do the same in our churches. I have certainly seen that change in my life as a student here. I see the value of being a member of the community here, and I plan to become a member of my church in Chattanooga very soon.

这里生活的方方面面都有信仰的元素。 We often talk about how conversations about our walk with Christ follow us out of the classroom or chapel and into residence hall life, on the field or court, and into any other activities we’re involved in, and I can confirm that it truly happens. I've had talks about practical ways to be a faithful Christian in class, in my room with roommates, in the locker room before soccer practice, and at my staff meetings for The Bagpipe.
圣约社区是如何支持你成长为一个完整的人的？
圣约团体帮助我认识到上帝在所有事情上的主权。 In class, my professors always emphasize why the subject is important to the world and what it means as a Christian to study the different disciplines. The Covenant community does an excellent job reminding us how important each person here is to our personal walks with Christ. My professors, coaches, classmates, teammates, and work study supervisors have come around me to show me how to be a loving image bearer in different contexts of life, teaching me how to be a friend, teammate, mentor, and working professional that shines the light of Christ to all.
How have your relationships at Covenant shaped your expectations for the other communities God will call you to in life?
信徒的身体就是要一起经历人生的高潮和低谷。 My friends here have stuck by my side through some incredibly hard things and celebrated wonderful things with me. They have shown me what the love of friends is supposed to be like, and taught me how to get to know the heart of a person in a short amount of time, which is important for being in communities with people of all walks of life.
你在圣威尼斯人平台最美好的记忆是什么？
This is a really hard question to answer because I have so many fond memories, but I can narrow it down to two. The first was the Inaugural Ball my junior year, because it was awesome to see the entire Covenant community celebrate the installation of President Voyles alongside his family. My second has to be my senior day for women's soccer. These girls have been by my side since day one here, and are truly like my sisters, so having a day to celebrate how much we have grown together over the past 4 years as women who love soccer and love living for Jesus was such a sweet time.
