Young 校友 of the Year: Michael Kendall ’11, Libby O’Neil ’08, & Evelyn Petcher ’10

Michael Kendall, Libby O’Neil, and Evelyn Petcher founded the East Lake Expression Engine (ELEE) in March of 2014. Inspired by the successful El Sistema programs around the world, the three alumni shared a vision to start a Christian music education program in Chattanooga to serve the inner city.

Students at ELEE are taught musical and ensemble skills through choir, bucket band, and the study of orchestral instruments. The work relies on the biblical doctrines of image bearing, creation, and work.

三位校友都在威尼斯人平台学习音乐，并继续通过电子音乐学院学习音乐。 In addition to their work with ELEE, Michael serves as worship director at New City Fellowship East Lake, Libby teaches violin privately and at Silverdale Academy, and Evelyn teaches for the youth orchestra of St. Lukes, an El Sistema inspired program in New York City.
