Covenant excels by going beyond the kingdom connection in theology curriculum and truly teaching how to integrate faith into career. For example, historiography doesn't just teach us how to be historians, it teaches us how to be Christian historians. While politics is often a messy field, there is perhaps no place where a kingdom-minded approach is more needed.

I majored in history in part because I was indecisive: I liked philosophy, literature, economics, and environmental studies, among other things, and historians study all of those things. 对于好奇的人来说，这是一个很好的专业。 What I didn’t really think about at the time are the skills I practiced as a history major, skills that have been invaluable in my career.

After graduating with a double major in history and community development, I interned with the International Justice Mission in South Asia before attending Columbia Law School and working for an international law firm. The rigorous intensity and intellectual curiosity cultivated in my history classes informed my study of law and now my preparation of cases.
